Special screening of “Everest”

Foto: © Universal Pictures ELLAS COMUNICACIÓN, together with Universal Pictures International Spain, has organised a special showing of the film EVEREST, which is set to be released on 18 September. The screening was attended by members of cultural and sports related press, the film industry, celebrities and various specialists in alpinism, mountaineering and dangerous sports. The event was introduced with a presentation by climber and celebrity Jesús Calleja, who shared his experience with the audience about one of the most dangerous eight-thousanders of all: Mount Everest.

The film is running for Best Comedy Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Film Poster. The winners of the 3rd edition of the Feroz Awards will be announced on 19 January.

“We Need To Talk” to premiere on 26 February

Foto: © Julio Vergne We Need To Talk, the new comedy directed by David Serrano starring Hugo Silva, Michelle Jenner, Verónica Forqué, Óscar Ladoire, Ernesto Sevilla and Belén Cuesta is set to be released on 26 February. Hugo Silva and Michelle Jenner join forces once again after a decade of not working together to play Jorge and Nuria, the main characters; Véronica Forqué and Óscar Ladoire play her parents, who would do anything for her, while Ernesto Sevilla and Belén Cuesta are their friends, the kind that every tangled up comedy needs. The screenplay is the work of David Serrano himself (with other work including The Wrong Side of the Bed, Soccer Days, Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar, Venus in Fur, and Lluvia Constante), together with Diego San José (Spanish Affair 2, Spanish Affair 1, Lovestorming, Friend Zone). We Need To Talk is produced by Atípica Films and Atresmedia Cine, in collaboration with Atresmedia and Movistar+. Broadcasting in Spain is entrusted to Warner Bros. Pictures Spain.

Irene Escolar nominated for Best Revelation Actress at the Goya Awards

She was also nominated for Best Actress at the José María Forqué Awards and the Feroz Awards. The winners will be revealed on 11 January (during the José María Forqué Awards Ceremony), on 19 January (Feroz Awards Ceremony) and on 6 February (Goya Awards Ceremony).
